Testimonial - Bleeder - Pulmon-EZ
Honor Quest known to all of us as “Goose” has had respiratory problems for about 6 years now.
He was a bleeder when he ran on the track. Goose came to me when he was 4 years old. I’ve ran barrels on him since he was 5. He is currently 18 years old.
Summers are the hardest time for him. I’ve took summers off on him because of his respiratory problems. He gets extremely hot and his breathing is elevated. His nostrils flare almost to the point of a pant (like a dog).
He would literally spend hours in the pond trying to cool his self down. We would have to go get him out of the pond to feed him. He had a terrible time getting any air. Temperature wasn’t the only problem. Humidity seemed to play a huge part.
He’s been prone to upper respiratory infections. Once a few years back it was almost to the point of pneumonia. I had gotten to the point where running him in the summer was just out of the question.
I kept him legged up and I would go to a few selection races only if he was up to it. Mainly I just wanted him to feel better. I tried everything. The vet put him on TriHist for his allergies. That elevated his heart rate and made his breathing even more elevated.
I’ve tried Oxygen and I didn’t see any real difference in his condition. Then a friend of mine Teresa told me about PulmonEz. Teresa told me “Jolene, I can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to run him but I promise you he won’t stand out there and pant like that anymore.” I was willing to give anything a try. Goose has taken me anywhere I’ve ever wanted to go. Fourteen glorious years he has hauled me around on that back of his and if I could ease his pain then it was well worth it.
He’s been on the PulmonEz about 4 months now.
We started him on it in May and it’s now almost September. We’ve had one week that he had some problems. It was like his lightest day with the problem in years past. You have to keep in mind this went on for weeks/months in the past. We had ONE (1) week where he had a minimal problem. That is so fantastic.
He’s running great and feeling phenomenal. Since he’s been on the PulmonEz he’s even shaved 1/2 second off his barrel racing times. He’s moved up into another division. I’ve been able to run him all summer with no problems. No elevated breathing, no panting, no coughing, nothing. It’s been a miracle, one that he truly deserved.
I also have a 10 year old gelding named Highopesemptypockets (Pockets).
He came off the track a couple of years ago. He was a bleeder on the track as well. I put him on the PulmonEz the same time I did Goose. Pockets has had a hard time putting on weight. Teresa recommended the GastroPlus. Now being thrifty I decided to take Pockets off the PulmonEz and just give him the GastroPlus.
I had him off the PulmonEz a couple of weeks and I ran at a local barrel race. When I got home I saw he had bled. This horse NEVER bled with the PulmonEz. I immediately called Teresa and put him back on the PulmonEz. He is currently doing great and no more bleeding. I can’t say enough good things about the PulmonEz. If you have a bleeder, horse with allergies, respiratory problems you’d be a fool not to try this product.
I can’t start to thank Teresa enough for recommending the Pulmon-EZ, I will always be indebted to you. You made a difference in a very special man in my life.
Thank you so much.
